The Aitcho Islands are a group of small islands, some still unnamed, situated in the northern entrance of English Strait in the South Shetland Group in Antarctica. They are named after the British Admiralty's Hydrographic Office ('HO'), and are covered with extensive beds of moss and lichens. Gentoo and Chinstrap Penguins have established rookeries, where you may also find southern elephant and fur seals hauled out.
