Behai is a charming seaside destination best known as a source of natural pearls and beautiful beaches. It is located in the southern part of Guangxi province on the northeast shore of Beibu Gulf. Attractions here include he Aquatic Products Museum exhibiting sea animals and plants from the South China Sea, the Beihai Silver Beach, the Dongpo Pavilion and the Wenchang Pagoda dating back to the year 1613 in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).
