Campobello Island, linked to Maine by a bridge, is one of the islands of a small island group at the entrance to Passamaquoddy Bay in southwestern New Brunswick. The island is inhabited by fishermen and is indented with sandy coves and inlets and has rugged headlands with picturesque lighthouses. Visit the 2,600-acre Roosevelt Campobello International Park, where you may see the summer home of the family of President Franklin D. Roosevelt and presidential memorabilia. View the historic East Quoddy Lighthouse, standing guard over the rocky shores of the Bay of Fundy, and watch for migratory birds, including woodpeckers, doves, and even Bald Eagles.
