Cargados Shoals - Mauritius Highlights:
Ile de Cocos, Ile de Sud, Beach and water activities
The Cargados Carajos Shoals lie 250 miles (402 km) northeast if the island of Mauritius and forms part of its territory. You can visit Ile de Cocos, also called St. Brandon, and Ile de Sud, two of the largest islets in a string of very small dream islands and places with little natural protection from the elements. The islands are made up of the brilliantly white sand and little else. Landing is by tender and beach and water activities are the main activities.
