Champ Island is the southernmost island of the Zichy Land subgroup in the central part of the Franz Josef Land Archipelago, Russian Federation. It is separated by narrow sounds from Luigi Island in the north and Salisbury Island in the northeast.
This picturesque island has ice and snow-capped mountains and is littered with strange spherical stones of varying sizes. The sizes of these stone balls vary from 5cm to 3m in diameter.
