Ocean Ports of Call

Corpach - UK, Scotland Highlights:
Caledonian Canal, Aonach Mor, Ben Nevis
Corpach lies at the inland end of Loch Linnhe near Fort William. It is the terminus of the spectacular Caledonian Canal, completed by Telford in 1822 to allow ships to avoid the perils of the Pentland Firth and maurauding French pirates. The first flight of locks, known as Neptune's staircase, rises 72ft in only 500 yards. From here take a tour and gondola trip up Aonach Mor for spectacular views of Ben Nevis.
