Crown island is a small volcanic island situated off the coast of Madang Province in Papua New Guinea. It is separated from the island of New Guinea by Vitiaz Strait. This uninhabited island is a turtle nesting ground and home of the giant lizard and a good diving and snorkelling site. The reefs at Crown Island are untouched, with giant dogtooth tuna, sharks, sea whip and sea fans gardens.
