Digges Island - Canada, Nunavut Highlights:
Inuit ruins, Breeding murres
Land at Erik Cove on Digges Island, located in the entrance to Hudson Bay between Mansel Island and the Quebec mainland. The island is home to superb Inuit ruins, and, along with the Quebec shore at Cape Wolstenholme, supports one of the most significant seabird colonies in Arctic Canada, as millions of breeding pairs of thick-billed murres crowd the cliffs here.
