Eidi is a large village located on the north-west tip of Eysturoy, Faroe Islands. Settled by the Vikings in the 9th century, there is a large stone church dating from 1881 In the centre of the village. Within walking distance of Eidi is the 343m high promontory Eioiskollur, from the top of which there is a beautiful view over the sea and the islands, including a view down onto Risin og Kellingin, two legendary rocks that rise 75m up from the sea.
