Located at the southern end of the Aegean coast of western Turkey, Ekincik is a small village in the shores of the Bay of Ekincik. The Bay is a yacht anchorage for those wanting to visit the ruins at Kaunos and the Dalyan River. There is an excellent tan sand beach on the bay where turtles lay their eggs. There is good diving and snorkelling at the far end of the beach at Maden Iskelesi where there are submarine caves.
