Great Swinton Island (Kyun Philar), in the Mergui Archipelago of Myanmar is situated 50 miles north west of Kawthaung. It has several kilometers of white sand beach, beautifully clear warm water and pristine coral. It is ideal for those that want to snorkel or view the coral and marine life whilst paddling along on kayaks. Or for the more experienced, just offshore, there is the world class dive site of Shark Cave and several others.

There are also many birds, animals, fishes and marine mammals including monkeys, turtles, shark and dolphins.
