Norwegian Sun is a resort at sea offering a wide variety of activities and entertainment in modern surroundings. Freestyle Cruising provides plenty of flexible options for dining but the increased venues result in extra charges and reduced deck space.  Norwegian Sun passengers tend to be Mixed Ages and International. When all cabins have double occupancy, the ship provides a space ratio of 40.7 tons per passenger and a crew to passenger ratio of one for every 2 passengers. At full capacity the space ratio is 32 tons per passenger and the crew ratio is one to 2.6 passengers.

The standard cabins are small but have adequate storage space and come well equipped with convertible beds to queen size. Cabins with balconies offer more room. Bathrooms are compact but well designed. Cabins have safe, internet connection, aircon, table.

$13 per passenger per day is added to your on board bill and 15% to all drinks. An extra charge is made for dining in selected onboard restaurants.

The rating for children is Very Good. There are extensive, organised activities for all ages of children (2-17) throughout the day with dedicated staff. This year the ship provides face painting, treasure hunts, video games, volleyball and discos. Children also have a separate pool.
