Radiance of the Seas offers a lively cruise experience in a wide range of bright and cheerful public rooms including the Viking Crown lounge high amidships. Half the external structure is glass. It features a nine deck high atrium with glass lifts.  Radiance of the Seas passengers tend to be All ages and Mostly American but more Brits/Europeans in Europe. When all cabins have double occupancy, the ship provides a space ratio of 42.9 tons per passenger and a crew to passenger ratio of one for every 2.4 passengers. At full capacity the space ratio is 26.8 tons per passenger and the crew ratio is one to 3.9 passengers.

Cabins are a reasonable size with convertible beds to queen size, vanity desk, safe, with floor tiled bathrooms and small storage space for toiletries. Larger suites offer king size beds and access to a concierge lounge.

Casual and comfortable during the day. In the evening dress is smart casual (shirt and trousers for gentlemen and casual elegance for ladies). Formal evenings require a suit or dinner jacket for men and a cocktail dress for ladies.
US$13 per passenger per day (including children) will be aded to your shipboard account for cabin and restaurant staff - more for suites. 15% will automatically be added on all drinks.

Wheelchair access is good. Wheelchair cabins have larger access doors and the ship has ramped areas and sloping decks.  Hoists are not provided and passengers will need to bring their own.

The rating for children is Good. The ship provides many activities including a children's club and interests for 3-17 year olds such as a video arcade, scavenger hunt and sports competitions.
