Wind Star is part yacht, part cruise ship and has four masts and computer controlled sails. Interiors are chic and the cruise experience is smart casual with few organised activities and no formal nights.  Wind Star passengers tend to be 30/40+ and Smart international set. When all cabins have double occupancy, the ship provides a space ratio of 37.2 tons per passenger and a crew to passenger ratio of one for every 1.6 passengers. At full capacity the space ratio is 37.2 tons per passenger and the crew ratio is one to 1.6 passengers.

Good sized cabins are well equipped and furnished with minibar, fridge, 24hr room service, safe, daily fruit basket, and all outside facing. There are excellent showers with limited toiletries but no bathtubs.
